It was the summer of 1984 when Wes Craven’s masterpiece “A Nightmare on Elm Street” graced the big screen. The haunting and feverish dreamscape that this movie created has left an indelible mark on popular culture and horror aficionados alike. One cannot mention horror movies without mentioning Freddy Krueger, the razor-gloved killer who stalks his victims in their nightmares.
The story follows a group of teenagers who are being terrorized by Krueger, who was burned to death by the parents of Springwood, Ohio years ago after he was accused of molesting and killing children. The victims are plagued with terrible nightmares that ultimately lead to their untimely deaths.
